Factors associated with the homicides of women who are victims of violence

ABSTRACT Objectives: to identify factors associated with homicides in women who had prior notification of violence the state Pernambuco, 2011 2016. Methods: a transversal, quantitative and observational study, guided by STROBE tool, data obtained from Mortality Information System; against women, Grievance Notification System. The logistic regression model was used verify homicides. Results: there were 32,308 cases 1,162 chances homicide higher for women: victims physical (2.39 times more), aggression object court (2.32 firearm (6 when recurrence (3.82 more).
